Origin and Evolution
Ground Mustard come from the plant Sinapis alba, native to the Mediterranean basin and parts of Asia. They were widely used by ancient Greek and Roman cultures for both culinary purposes and traditional medicinal preparations.
Flavor Profile
Small yellow seeds with a mild aroma. When crushed or ground, they release a gentle heat and a slightly sharp, tangy flavour.
