From the Greek kardámomon, green cardamom has been cultivated for more than 2,000 years in regions of India and the Middle East. In Europe, it became especially prominent in sweet breads and traditional pastries.

Green cardamom offers notable digestive, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant benefits. It helps reduce gas, improve digestion, freshen breath, and ease mild respiratory discomfort. Its mineral content supports healthy blood pressure, metabolism, and overall well-being.
